In 2018, I started the Auth0 Women’s Leadership Group as a resource for women in Auth0 to get together with like-minded individuals to grow their leadership skills. We started with a group of 10 and over the years we have grown to over 130 WLG members across all genders, ethnicities, and locations. Together, we share struggles, learn from internal and external speakers, interact through activities, and collect feedback to share with the greater Auth0. This group gives me a safe place to learn and grow and has given me many friends along the way.

When I found my family expanding recently, I heavily relied on the Parents Employee Network. Of course, I can talk with my spouse about the struggles of parenthood, but it's nice to have a safe space at work to discuss children and family life in a judgement free way. My sanity couldn't do without it.

We've had a variety of group discussions around Shine Theory, Likability, Managing Meetings Effectively, and Covid-19's unequal impact on women.

When I started Pride with Russ back in early 2019, our main goal was to create a safe space within Auth0 that fosters inclusiveness. We have a dedicated, private Slack channel for our Pride members where we all feel empowered to drive positive change and support each other during hard times. I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin than I have at Auth0. You can feel that authenticity in every single interaction, even when it’s over Slack.

I have never been part of Asian Employee Network at my previous jobs because I never felt that we were represented. At Auth0, we are encouraged to have a voice for all employees. AEN supports professional growth of AAPI employees to be a catalyst for change in our communities.

The Parents Employee Network allows caregivers a safe place amongst colleagues to be heard and to help spread empathy and understanding across the organization. We are working to embrace all aspects of family life and create a workspace where family values are truly embedded in our culture.

I led an initiative to remove biased language from our product and codebase, which involved coordinating several departments across Auth0. Every single stakeholder was incredibly supportive and eager to be involved despite that this was in addition to quarterly roadmaps and commitments. I think it speaks volumes about our culture and values that nobody questioned why we were replacing biased language.
