From phone number

If you’re using Twilio Messaging Services as your SMS source, you cannot set a custom From phone number. Instead, Twilio chooses a number from your Messaging Service’s sender pool based on your Twilio configuration.
The From field sets the phone number that text messages are sent from. The default From phone number is the one you set when you configured your phone provider. To set a custom From phone number for a phone template, enter the phone number in this field.

Text Message Template

The Text Message Template field sets the content of the of the text message. Each template comes with a default message body which you can modify or discard entirely to write your own. This field supports Liquid syntax for dynamically generated content. To learn more, read Supported Liquid Syntax for Phone Templates.

Test updated templates

To test templates for different applications, create a sample user to go through the phone message flows. You can trigger verification emails manually for specific applications and users using the Management API Send an email address verification email endpoint.
