Federal and State/Local leaders prioritize security and citizen privacy above all else.
Cybersecurity and protecting citizen data is the prominent theme across both Federal and State/Local government. Despite being a priority, only 65% of government respondents are confident in their ability to deliver safe and secure access to digital applications. As security perimeters have dissolved over the past two years due to the digitization of government, identity and access management has become a crucial part of maintaining continuity in government while also establishing citizen trust amidst an evolving threat landscape.
In this report, we highlight key trends observed across both Federal and State/Local governments pertaining to digital citizen services, highlight areas of opportunity, and shed light on how identity can improve the nation's cybersecurity posture.
