Secure Access for Everyone
We believe in Secure Access for Everyone, “SAFE” for short, and we use our SAFE fund for helping nonprofits fight for equal access and education for everyone in an inclusive way.
Some of the organizations we are funding through the SAFE fund:
The digital divide disproportionately impacts families with low incomes and communities of color across Washington state, exacerbated by COVID-19. All In WA’s Digital Equity Initiative aims to overcome the digital divide and support academic achievement by quickly providing students with access to devices and hardware, hot spots, and tech support.
World Savvy empowers educators to make school inclusive, relevant, and engaging for all students, inspiring them to learn, work, and thrive in our globalized economy and society. World Savvy ensures that every student, regardless of their race, economic status, geographic location, etc., can access the type of global education that is often only afforded by students in well-resourced schools.
Techbridge Girls delivers high-quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning programs to girls who experience economic insecurity with the goal of amplifying their voices and experiences and inspiring them to pursue STEM careers. They train educators, work with role models, and disseminate their curricula to schools, families, and organizations across the US, advocating for all girls.
