How Hypotenuse AI Uses Auth0 to Streamline User Onboarding

April 11, 2023

Hypotenuse AI is an artificial intelligence platform that helps you optimize your business processes. The goal of the Hypotenuse AI platform is to reduce manual labor and automate the tedious, time-consuming tasks associated with business processes. It automates decision-making and analysis by providing intelligent solutions and insights, allowing you to make better decisions faster.

Can we let you in on a little secret? We used Hypotenuse AI to write the paragraph above.

The AI-driven technology is designed to help companies save time and money by automating routine tasks and customer interactions. With its powerful algorithms, Hypotenuse AI can analyze customer data to provide timely and accurate customer service. It can also deliver personalized product recommendations to customers that match their preferences, needs, and budget.

That paragraph was written by Hypotenuse, too.

“We’re not aiming to replace humans. I don’t think anything will ever replace that level of creativity, direction, and strategy that you need from a human to drive a content process and to really drive what a brand wants to talk about. But, it’s more of a tool to get the grease into the cogs so that things move a bit smoother.” - Low Lin-Hui, Co-Founder.

The Origins of Hypotenuse

We sat down with Low Lin-Hui, Co-Founder, to learn more about Hypotenuse AI and the growing artificial intelligence industry. The platform started as a chat function that helped customers search on e-commerce websites and has evolved into a robust suite of content tools. “What we’re trying to put together is this holistic, start-to-finish content creation process,” said Lin. She shared that this product is for companies looking to streamline content production. Some of their products and features include a content detective, blog articles, Hypo Art, Instagram captions, and even rewriting support. At this point, we’re thinking, what can’t Hypotenuse AI do?

Hypotenuse AI initially envisioned their audience as enterprise customers that wanted a tailored solution, and while they do serve many notable enterprise customers, there was also demand for a self-service option. They saw a lot of interest in simple products that people could use immediately, even if these products weren’t always customized to a specific brand voice or use case. They currently offer two self-service plans that you can try for free.

Deploying Secure Authentication with Auth0

When the team was looking for an authentication solution, they were trying to find something that was fast, secure, and reliable. On top of being customizable, it was important to Hypotenuse that their solution had a commitment to user privacy and data protection. Auth0 fits the bill.

Hypotenuse AI started to use Auth0 when they opened their product to subscriptions. As they grew, they needed to programmatically add pre-user registration validation processes. They were able to solve this by using Actions and Flows. This automated solution handles the majority of user onboarding tasks, ultimately saving the team time and effort. “Overall, Auth0 has allowed us to significantly enhance the performance of our login UX and streamline our user onboarding.”
