BELLEVUE, Wash. -- October 1, 2019 -- Auth0, a global leader in Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS), today announced a series of global events and meetups in support of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM). During October, Auth0 joins government and industry organizations around the world in educating the public about cybersecurity best practices and how to stay safe online.
Originally created by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and National Cyber Security Alliance, NCSAM has grown into a global initiative supported by the EU and Australia. This year's campaign — Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT. — encourages personal accountability and proactive behavior to enhance cybersecurity at home and in the workplace; and focuses on issues like citizen privacy, consumer devices, and eCommerce security.
NCSAM named Auth0 a 2019 Champion Organization dedicated to promoting a safer, more secure and more trusted internet. Auth0 activities in support of this year's campaign include:
