In February 2025, we launched Okta Learning. Back then, we had high hopes for an integrated experience for Okta and Auth0 platform customers alike. After all, are not we better together? But as time went on, it became clear that there was a disconnect between the Okta and Auth0 brands and the customers we serve. Mixing Auth0 learning content with our Okta catalog was doing a disservice to both audiences.
Designing an Experience for Auth0 Devs
We conducted user studies and listened to feedback from you, actual Auth0 devs. We identified three major sticking points:
- Content was buried: Okta Learning never felt like it was for Auth0 devs, making it hard to find the right materials.
- Too much friction: Auth0 devs need to problem-solve quickly. You want to explore the content before investing time in signing up and signing in.
- Unclear progression: Devs interested in skill badges and certification need clearer indicators of their progress along learning paths.
What to Expect from Auth0 Learning
Simplified, focused catalog
We designed Auth0 Learning in direct response to your barriers. Auth0 Learning separates our previously unified catalog into a new experience designed just for Auth0 devs. The simplified catalog is neatly focused on our three major product areas:
- Auth0 as an identity provider
- Auth0 for AI Agents (A4AA)
- Auth0 Fine-Grained Authorization (FGA).
This reorganized structure makes it easier to find solutions for use cases you need to solve right now.

No auth required
We have also removed the requirement to sign up and sign in to view and interact with our content. You can jump into any of our free, on-demand courses immediately. However, if you want to track your course progress and earn skill badges, you will need to sign in to the platform. The choice is yours!

Track your progress and earn badges
If you do choose to sign in and track your progress, we have redesigned our learning paths to make your journey crystal clear. It is now much easier to see exactly what you need to do to earn skill badges–digital achievements you can share on various social platforms.

The best way to see the difference is to try it yourself! Try Auth0 Learning right now and start exploring without even signing in. We built this space for you, and we cannot wait to see what you build with it.
