You Talked, We Listened: How Your Feedback Shaped Our New B2B Plans

At Auth0, we do not just collect feedback; we act on it. Over the last few months, you have shared specific challenges regarding plan flexibility and the "price cliffs" that can occur when scaling. Our Customer Advocate team has taken those insights directly to our product teams to ensure our self-service B2B plans evolve alongside your actual needs.

Here are three major updates driven by your requests that are launching this month:

1. Proof of Concepts: Enterprise Connection on the Free Plan

The Request: You told us that testing an Enterprise Connection for a demo or POC felt like a significant barrier when you were not yet in production. You needed a way to validate your integration before committing to a paid tier.

  • The Change: We have updated the Free Plan to include one Enterprise Connection.
  • The Impact: You can now build, test, and prove the value of your integration to stakeholders without any upfront cost.

2. Scaling Incrementally: Add-On Enterprise Connections for B2B Essentials

The Request: You highlighted that jumping from B2B Essentials to B2B Professional just to add a fourth or fifth connection felt like too large a leap for a growing business.

  • The Change: We are introducing Add-on Enterprise Connections for the B2B Essentials Plan.
  • The Impact: You can now scale at your own pace. If you land a new client requiring SAML or OIDC, you can simply add that specific connection to your existing plan.

3. Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Token Add-Ons

The Request: Many of you needed to expand your backend service communication but didn't necessarily need the full suite of "Professional" features. You asked for the ability to buy only what you use.

  • The Change: We are enabling M2M Token Add-ons for the B2B Essentials Plan.
  • The Impact: This add-on provides the technical flexibility to increase service-to-service capacity without the overhead of a full plan upgrade.
